HQ’s made by GMH Holden in 1972 was never intended as a race car, it was developed as a family car and a taxi. It was the biggest model of vehicle ever produced by Holden and the most popular Holden in excess of 400,000 were built and sold.
Today the car lives on ----- on the race track.
The class has been a support race to the V8 Supercars seen at world class circuits like Bathurst, Phillip Island, Sandown and the list goes on.
DVD’s have been produced by K-Tel Motorsport Media for you to experience the racing and hopefully get on board with your own HQ.
